A lot of people have asked me about cosplaying my princess dresses, but Chibirinoa is the first person to actually send me photos! AGHHGHJdfgd so pretty.
Doomsday....sorry, you missed it.Since the concept of the Leap Year was first implemented back in 45BC, there have been about 514 of them.Without the extra day every 4 years, we would be in 2013.As the Mayan Calendar doesn't take leap years into account; 2012 has been and gone.(Edit - no: I'm not smart enough to work that out myself. I read it!)

On Graduating-Hey guys, I know for a lot of you graduation is coming up super fast, and it seems completely absurd that it's been almost a year ago since I was in that boat. I well remember the two options presented to me:1) Get a studio job. Preferably close to home.2) Move back in with my parents. Possibly get a day job or something.I just wanted to remind ...whoever is reading this... that there are about a gazillion alternatives. In fact, any possible train of actions you can conceive of is an option. It's hard to think of options not presented to you as options, but you really can go anywhere and do anything. This is the only time in our lives when we don't have any greater obligations- we don't have a wife and kids to provide for, no company that would collapse without us, our bodies can handle sleeping on a springy old couch for a while. This is EXACTLY when you should take a gigantic risk because the only thing y
Random MusingsYou know what character I've always wanted to draw correctly but never could? Jasmine from Aladdin. No matter how many times I've tried, studying the character, the animation, etc... I just can't do it right. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. For that matter I wish I had a more disney-seque style of drawing. I think you can see some Mickey Mouse and Bone inspirations in my shorter cartoony characters like Spot or Talus... but when it comes to human beings I have a very hard time moving away from my Rumiko Takahashi roots. I really envy some of my fellow artists here on DA who have gorgeous linework and character designs, especially in the realm of the face. I've tried but, like Jasmine, I struggle. When I get Super Mario 3D Land for my 3DS, you can probably expect to see a lot of fanart of characters running around with Tanookie tails. I friggin' LOVED the leaf powerup in Super Mario Bros 3 and it's been damn close to 20 years since it's been in a new Mario game.I hate spoilers, but

AVATAR: THE LEGEND OF KORRA EXCLUSIVE TRAILER!That time of year is getting close, peoples. The premiere of one of the most ground-breaking & anticipated animated kids series is almost upon us!
I don't think I can delay getting myself a website...anymore.I've put it off for so long, and now we have an assignment where we must submit our online portfolio.I would love to hear of anyone's positive experiences. I have absolutely no idea where to start looking.
Arrietty is an evil movie, apparently...A few months back Fox News went after The Muppets for "promoting the liberal agenda" (whatever the **** that means this week). Miss Piggy got back at them with a scathing remark during an interview shortly after the controversy and we all had a laugh at Fox's expense. Well... Fox is at it again...This time they're going after Studio Ghibli's "The Secret World of Arrietty" and accusing, once again, that liberal Hollywood's agenda is corrupting children and turning them into "occu-toddlers." They also turned their sights on the new adaptation of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax. They claim that both movies "demonize the 1%" and that people "offended" by these movies should fight back by... littering. Don't believe me? Watch the video and get ready to facepalm: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuFcWkFJZgkNow I can understand (barely) how a conservative could possibly have an issue with The Lorax since it deals with criticizing the logging industry and promoting the dangers of excessive defore
