Project Rooftop: Spider-Man by shoomlah Project Rooftop: Spider-Man by shoomlah
My submission for Project: Rooftop's Spider-Man: Webhead 2.0 contest, which I rushed to finish last night only to have them extend the deadline this morning. Ha!

I'm sure I'd have done something different if I had more time, but I'm actually kinda keen on this. I think it was a bit of a boone to not be a huge Spider-Man fan, which means I had the general Spidey vibe in my head without getting caught up in the existing costume tropes you usually see on him.

This is amazing. It's a very bold Spiderman (totally agree with not being caught up in the usual Spidey costumes), and the large dark blue diamond on his chest is very striking. And so is the spareness of the usually ever-present web pattern. The spider legs reaching all the way to the mask are also a great touch. All in all, it's a great reinterpretation and very much suits the lanky and lithe Peter Parker.

P.S. The web pattern originating from his armpits give the shoulders an amusing mutton chop sleeve illusion.

Damn... I really like your Spiderman's re-envisioning... I have to admit I never thought that would have been possible. I mean, I NEVER liked how others reinterpreted Spiderman's custome. Yours are plainly great.

Great job. Keep on.
