Full House Poker prop sheet 03 by shoomlah Full House Poker prop sheet 03 by shoomlah
That's right it is a NEVERENDING FLOW OF WORK ART. This is what happens when my games get released. Deal with it.

This sheet is for our figurehead environment, the Art Deco Vegas casino. Yeees, I know Vegas wasn't a boom town until after the construction of the Hoover Dam, but we called it that during production anyway. :P I had never really designed for art deco before, despite loving the style, so it was enlightening.

This environment probably wins for most little card suit references littered throughout the decor and props. There are a lot.

You can make comparisons with the trailer/in-game screenshots over here: [link]

Now I want all of those decanters. I have a thing for bottles and I don't have any good decanters yet.

fuck yes! i have a certain love for art deco architecture. <3 living in vegas, i can tell you there are 1 or 2 art deco casinos, but theyre not on the strip, and they certainly dont rock the art deco. they just kinda go. "oh. well. this was built art deco..... but i think we'll do GREEN LEPRECHAUNS INSTEAD!"

awesome! I totally noticed the art deco designs in the background while watching my husband play that game obsessively, then I log onto deviantart and discover that you designed it!
Nice job :D

I am not a gambler, but I think I would die of pure pleasure if I ever entered a casino that looked like this. (I LOVE Art Deco.)

Amazing! Within art deco you still can go a million directions, i'm highly impressed how unified this interior looks. That chandelier is so gorgeous, I like the flowing lines in contrast with all the block shapes. Is there a bit of an indian feather headpiece theme there as well? The little red triangles gave me that impression, also seems to connect with the barstool somehow (or maybe i'm seeing things) Also very clever use of the suit shapes everywhere. And beautiful, clear presentation too. In conclusion: lots to learn from!
