The beginning half of my first assignment for my comics class with Shanth- a 2 page comic, each page with 3-6 panels, telling some cohesive narrative that "blows his socks off." Retooled a bit after the critique, and I think it reads a lot better now. Don't really have much to say about it beyond that, actually- it took a lot of time, but it was worth it.
(My friends and are in the class as well, so check them out if your want to see their responses to the assignments as well... Painfully good art from the both of them.)
EDIT: in response to Shazzbaa's comment, I thought I should point out that I drew Horus playing with Ammut rather than Anubis simply because I wanted to draw a crazy awesome Horus. There's nothing more behind it, apologies in advance for the mythologically confusing situation.
Lovely character design, great coloring. Page layout is also very nice- I feel like the last panel repeats visually with panel 2, possibly caused by the fact the hand is the same size. Nothing big, it still works well as is.
Top notch looking work

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Also, love the stylisation of that face. Beautifully subtle motion. And this is such a weird little thing, but nice colour choice for the sky.
