Artist's Comments

The Asheron's Call team at Turbine recently got around to using art I did last year for the 10th anniversary, so I'm finally free to post it. :D These were portraits based on existing art and in-game models, but were also a chance to upgrade the costuming and designs with a new coat of polish. The second set is here: [link]

From left to right: Elysa, Borelean, Asheron, Nuhmudira, and Oswald.

Aaaaalrighty then!

Nice pictures, Though the design is graphic they seem almost ultra-real. I suppose what I mean to say is they seem like tangible 3-d models!

Dang... these are crazy good.

Oh man. Oh man. I just LOVE the colours and shading and just.. everything, haha. My eyes just keep going back to each character and looking at all the little details and awesomeness in each one (same with the second batch!).

I'll just say it right now - you are bloody unbelievable. The paint-job on this rocks my socks completely off. Borelean's armour is particularly awesome.

awesome interpretations!

I dont think I've ever since played such a brutal RPG as was the early days of AC.

having to learn all your spells by guesswork, losing your best items every time you died, and accruing massive vitae penalties...it really introduced a sense of danger.

I still remember trying to solo dryreach at level 15, lifestoning there, failing miserably and spending the next hour trying to run back to town. By the time I made it I had lost most of my gear to reedsharks roughing me up along the way.

and all for a *dual spell* ring...sigh.
