The first half of an antagonist/protagonist assignment. I have no idea why I went for the Aztec bent, really, besides liking Aztec culture, so not too much explanation behind that. Looked at a lot of Incan mummies and peat people for reference, which was enjoyable as always.

This is some CREEPY business. Kind of makes me think of wind waker - I have no idea why, but thats a good thing cause I loved that game.

That's a really interesting concept. They do look very melted together... like one character. Which is good. I have a question, too... is it the same person for both skeletal side, and living side? I noticed the markings and was just wondering.

I'd love to see this design from the front. This is honestly one of the only drawings I've ever seen that genuinely gave me a fright =p
